Microsoft PowerBI is a rich reporting, charting, and analytics tool that many companies have adopted to visual their data in a Business Intelligence (BI) tool that offers great flexibility, a lower learning curve than typical charting tools, and also allows the users to connect to live data sources, or to import data into the PowerBI workbooks and have that data set travel with the files themselves (.pbix file extension).
We have heard many times the concern of having these data sets traveling around with the PowerBI files, much like having a sensitive Excel file being stored on a file server, in cloud, or in the User’s Inbox as an attachment.
